Site Testing and Test Reports

Access Floors Limited are fully supported and monitored by Building Investigation & Testing Services (B.I.T.S.) who are an independent testing authority.

We offer testing of raised flooring systems from basic point loading tests to a complete range of air leakage tests.

Less specialised tests can be performed by our own representatives and witnessed by the building contractor and/or their appointed agent. The MOB PF2 PS/SPU  T42.00 Pedestal Structure and Fixing Test which involves using a soft canvas or leather bag containing 3Kg of dry sand, set up to swing through an arc of 90° at a radius of 1 metre to strike the pedestal head is a prime example of this.

Reports will be provided for all testing works arranged or performed by us detailing the tests involved, results achieved and any transpiring recommendations.
